I sometimes incorporate Tapping also called the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) into our hypnosis sessions. It is easy to do and it works quickly.
EFT is a form of psychological acupressure. It is based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to alleviate physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years.
Instead of using needles like acupuncture, tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you verbally express your specific problem.
This combination of tapping the energy meridians and verbalizing your concerns works to clear the short-circuit (the emotional block) from your body’s bio energy system. This restores your mind and body’s balance and is essential for optimal emotional and physical health.
With EFT, blockages in the body’s energy system are cleared by getting to the core issue of the emotional upset and then calming signals are sent to the brain. The upsetting emotions are released along with the emotional triggers. The reaction to the traumatic event is now neutralized.
When negative feelings such as blame, guilt, anger, grief, failure and other toxic emotions are released, your body will reset itself and you will heal and find your natural balance.
